Heat!

We'd complain about how hot it was here today - but apparently it was hot everywhere. Fortunately, Cooper and Avery had their grandparents in town to distract from the temperature. Papa had the right idea fishing IN the river.


Cooper watched from his baby pool on the shady front porch.





And what's a hot day without ice cream? So the whole family piled in the car and hit our favorite soft serve parlor. Avery was sporting her favorite new dress, and strangely, running shoes. Can't argue fashion with a 3 year old. you can see she takes get ice cream very seriously.


Cooper happily sampled grandma's cone.
