Cooper's godfather and one of Avery's favorite people, the infamous Uncle Fish (that's Uncle "Fitz" as pronounced by Avery), is leaving us in a few days to spend a year in Pakistan. So he and our good friend Andy (who, coincidentally, is also leaving soon for three years in Kenya) travelled out to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon with Avery, Cooper and their Dad. Check out that look of utter surprise on Cooper's face.
Avery insisted on taking her visitors on a walk to see the neighbor's animals. There were baby pigs, goats, and best of all there was mud. Happiness.
As they were leaving, Avery even got to test Uncle Fish's motorcycle. She was a little too at-home on it for her Dad's taste.
Farewell Uncle Fish and Andy! We'll miss you guys.
