Vermont! Part II

The small town of Burke Vermont and its surroundings provided so many activities. Avery enjoyed a short morning visit to a nearby lake with some of her cousins.

She even ventured into the water. And again, the scenery made it all the more special.

Even the local playground seemed cooler than normal. Somehow, the adults managed to wrangle the kids off the super-fun equipment long enough to line them up (by age) for a cousin photo.

Of course, that was best topped-off with a trip to the ice cream shop.

And right behind the ice cream shop...an amazing crystal clear stream. What a great place! The kids got right in there and all started working together with a strange unspoken determination to build some sort of rock dam while the adults hung out and enjoyed the sunset.

(a special thanks to Grandma for watching Cooper while we explored the town)
