Camp Out

A highlight of our trip this past week was being able to attend the annual family camp-out at Aunt Shelley and Uncle Jon's. Usually we're not around for all of the fun and excitement, but this year we were lucky enough to be in town. It was a great time and the kids loved being with all of their wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thanks for hosting Brooks Family, we had a great time!

In addition to camping and chowing on some seriously good grill food, there are lots of fun rides at the camp-out. Here, Avery shows her brother the art of hanging on tight.

Although we didn't stay over, the next morning we returned for camp-out breakfast. So delicious! Avery and Jack reunited for some pancakes (Jack was brave enough to sleep over).

Aunt Phyllis got both of the kids thoughtful books as gifts, and Avery crawled right up into her favorite reader's lap for an Easter tale. Thank you Aunt Phyllis & Uncle Gary!
