Avery had her half-year dance recital this past weekend. We were dubious about what that might entail, since the girls had only been at this whole dance-lesson thing for a few months. But we were very impressed! They have a wonderful teacher, and she put on a terrific show with her students. Avery was very proud to be up on stage, and it was so nice to see her work hard at something and then be confident in her performance. There was one unfortunate dosie-do incident, but otherwise it was a smooth and fun show.
And we had two special visitors!
Grammy and Aunt Shelley joined us for the evening.
Cooper didn't mind the recital....but he was much more interested in the post-recital ice cream party!
