After being stuck in the house for almost a week with the snow, this past weekend we ventured up to visit Avery's Aunt Susan and Uncle Bill. We had the best time! Their house was the perfect place for a toddler with cabin fever - they had crafts and activities and a beautiful cake to celebrate Avery's dad birthday!
Here she is using the "Dirder" she made with Aunt Susan. A term coined back in the early 90's by Avery's cousin Anna, the dirder is a decorated paper towel tube in which you do this:
