Aunt Kelly's Halloween Visit

It's becoming a favorite tradition that when Halloween arrives, so does Avery's wonderful Aunt Kelly. We had a great visit with her, and she and Avery spent quality time together reading new books and trying to decipher Avery's rapidly expanding new vocabulary.

(note: A huge Thank You to Jack, Mike and Nicole for the new Abby Cadabby doll Avery is holding in this picture - she loves it! Abby goes with us on all car rides now.)

Family dinner

(by the end of this dinner, Avery was so tired that just to keep her from screaming and crying hysterically she was given: a balloon, a movie to watch, and a bowl of ice cream. I was so embarrassed by this display of baby-spoiling that when someone stopped at the table to tell us she was cute, I told them it was her birthday.)
