Avery and I spent the past week vacationing in MA, and what a vacation it was! We had such a good time. We had a little trouble actually getting there due to storms that delayed our flights, but when we actually left the ground (there and back) Avery slept soundly the whole flight through. She received many compliments on her behavior from other passengers!
We were lucky enough to spend an entire afternoon hanging out with Avery's Aunt and Uncle, and this time they really had a chance to get to know one another. She especially enjoyed playing with Uncle Sean's knee - maybe it looks like a muppet or something? She spent a lot of time talking to it and trying to eat it. Very silly. Then we had a super fun cook-out down at the lake where she got to put her toes in the water and 'meet' her future cousin, who is due any day now. She can't wait!!
The majority of the time was spent playing with her Grandma and Grandpa, rolling around on the floor, playing her favorite game "hair" with Grandpa's head, and following around her grandparents dog Haley, hoping Haley would give her a few minutes of attention. We also took several very long but happy walks in Grandma's stroller. The picture below is of the little lady walking with the help of her cousin Jonathan. She loved him!
Her favorite days were the ones spent with Meema and her Aunt and Uncle visiting from Vermont. This is a shot of Avery giving Aunt Judy a huge kiss on the cheek. Thanks for taking the time to visit and spend the week with your great-great-niece!!
