Our little one has been making some huge developmental leaps during these warm summer days. The first, and most impressive, is that she is sitting up! These hands-free sessions only last a few minutes, and she is always surprised when she tips over onto her side (or head!!), but she can now sit independently and play.
And the best part is that she decided to debut this ability during a family party!
And she has started to eat solid food, and seems to be enjoying every mushy mouthful. As you can see, she waves her arms and enthusiastically opens her mouth like a little bird when the food is on its way. We realize that these are things almost every baby learns to do, but they are still pretty exciting for amateurs like us!
